These modules were designed based on input gathered during focus groups with program administrators, T/TA providers, early educators, and family members about the types and content of training that would be most useful in addressing the social-emotional needs of young children. The content of the modules is consistent with evidence-based practices identified through a thorough review of the literature.

This link, from the University of Missouri-Columbia Center for School-wide PBS, has a great resource called the "PBS Coach Competencies". To find the PBS Coach Competencies, click on "Competencies Index" on the left side of the main homepage. The PBS Coach Competencies is located on the Competencies Index. Click on any specific competency, and receive a research-based definition of the competency, as well as (typically) a PowerPoint presentation regarding the competency, and often additional resources.
